Even the GOAT makes mistakes.<\/p>\n

Tom Brady called last year\u2019s viral Netflix roast<\/a> a major parenting \u201cf\u2013k up\u201d on his part Tuesday, even though the special initially left him on \u201ccloud nine.\u201d<\/p>\n

The retired NFL player, 47, admitted to \u201cImpaulsive\u201d podcast listeners<\/a> Tuesday that when he spoke to his kids<\/a> the next day, Jack, 17, Benjamin, 15, and Vivian, 12, were not pleased.<\/p>\n

He recalled his brood asking, \u201cWhat was the point of that?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Roast of Tom Brady,\u201d notably, included a slew of jokes about his children\u2019s mothers<\/a>, Bridget Moynahan and Gisele B\u00fcndchen.<\/p>\n

Finding out that this \u201cwas tough on\u201d Jack, Benjamin and Vivian felt like \u201ca stake through the heart,\u201d Brady remembered.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Roast of Tom Brady\u201d included jokes about his kids\u2019 mothers, which was \u201ctough\u201d on the little ones. Instagram\/@tombrady<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s some things as a parent you f\u2013k up,\u201d the former quarterback said. \u201cAnd you don\u2019t realize until after. Like, ugh.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brady shared a similar sentiment<\/a> on the \u201cPivot\u201d podcast in May 2024.<\/p>\n

While the athlete thought the jokes regarding him were \u201cso fun,\u201d he \u201cdidn\u2019t like the way that\u201d other quips \u201caffected [his] kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former New England Patriots star added, \u201cIt\u2019s the hardest part about like, the bittersweet aspect of when you do something that you think is one way and then all of a sudden you realize, \u2018I wouldn\u2019t do that again,\u2019 because of the way that affected actually the people that I care about the most in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Brady clarified last year that his error in judgment will make him a \u201cbetter\u201d parent going forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t see the full picture all of the time,\u201d the Fox Sports commentator explained at the time. \u201cIt\u2019s a good lesson for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The bulk of the jokes about the model, 44, concerned her relationship with Joaquim Valente<\/a>, with whom she has since welcomed a baby<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Moynahan, 54, also found herself in headlines when Nikki Glaser poked fun<\/a> at how Brady began dating<\/a> B\u00fcndchen while the \u201cBlue Bloods\u201d actress was pregnant with Jack.<\/p>\n

The former couple<\/a>\u2018s baby boy was born in 2007, with Brady going on to welcome Benjamin and Vivian with B\u00fcndchen in 2009 and 2012, respectively.<\/p>\n
