Cincinnati Bengals<\/a> center Ted Karras<\/a> is joining forces with former teammate and Cincy native Sam Hubbard<\/a> for a unique collaboration.<\/p>\n

Karras’ organization, The Cincy Hat Foundation<\/a>, is set to release a Hubbard-inspired hat in partnership with the Sam Hubbard Foundation<\/a>, which is dedicated to tackling food insecurity in Cincinnati and is looking to expand its Hubbard’s Cupboard<\/a> initiative. The program works to provide food and school supplies<\/a> directly to local students.<\/p>\n

Hubbard’s hat, dubbed The Cincinnati Kid Cincy Hat, marks the first teammate partnership for Karras, whose Cincy Hat initiative helped put him in the running for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award<\/a> in 2023. Karras’ foundation supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.<\/p>\n

“I’ve been looking forward to teaming up with Sam in a charitable capacity for quite some time. The Cincy Hat Foundation is incredibly grateful for this collaboration and eager to see these donation dollars\u00a0expand beyond our mission and into the lives of those impacted by the Sam Hubbard Foundation,” Karras said in a statement to The Enquirer.<\/p>\n

How to get the Sam Hubbard-inspired Cincy Hat<\/p>\n

The Cincy Hat Foundation will release two styles of hats, priced at $35, to launch the initiative. A small run will drop Thursday, May 8, however, the hats will then be available at Hubbard’s annual fowling tournament<\/a>, where both Karras and Hubbard will be in attendance, at the Fowling Warehouse on May 15.<\/p>\n
