Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb<\/a> admitted \u201cit\u2019s gonna be weird\u201d facing off against the Green Bay Packers and linebacker Micah Parsons<\/a> in Week 4 of the 2025 regular season. Lamb, teammates with Parsons from 2021-25, knows what the All-Pro pass rusher is capable of; he\u2019s hopeful he doesn\u2019t wreck shop on the Cowboys\u2019 offensive line. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe worst. It\u2019s gonna be weird. It\u2019s gonna be conflicting,\u201d Lamb said Monday, via Jon Machota of The Athletic<\/a>. \u201cI hope he is not in the backfield in two seconds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Parsons, 26, requested out of Dallas after making zero progress on a new deal as he entered the 2025 season set to play on his fifth-year option. The Packers believe Parsons can transform their defense, rewarding him with a four-year, $188 million deal with $136 million guaranteed. Parsons is now the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL<\/a> history.<\/p>\n

Lamb and Parsons are now NFC rivals. That being said, Lamb is rooting for Parsons in Green Bay. <\/p>\n

\u201cObviously wishing him the best,\u201d Lamb said. \u201cI hope he has the best season ever. He\u2019s Micah Parsons, he\u2019s unblockable. He\u2019s unstoppable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Will Micah Parsons play in Week 1?<\/p>\n

The Cowboys were hopeful Parsons would be on the field for Thursday\u2019s Week 1 road contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. Obviously, after the trade which sent two first-round picks and three-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Kenny Clark<\/a> to Dallas, that won\u2019t be happening. <\/p>\n

The Packers, meanwhile, open up the season Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Parsons has been dealing with a back injury, making his status for Week 1 uncertain<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cPackers LB Micah Parsons has been dealing with an L4\/L5 facet joint sprain in his back and he may take an epidural injection prior to Sunday\u2019s game vs. the Lions if needed to help him play, per sources,\u201d\u00a0ESPN\u2018s Adam Schefter wrote Monday on X.<\/a>\u00a0\u201cBefore trading Parsons last week, the Cowboys prescribed him a five-day plan of an anti-Inflammatory corticosteroid, a prednisone to help him recover from back tightness.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey also had him on a physical therapy program.
