Over the Labor Day weekend, there was a bit of UFL<\/a> movement on NFL rosters. The Atlanta Falcons have brought back former Birmingham Stallions DE Ronnie Perkins, re-signing him to their practice squad.<\/p>\n

Ronnie Perkins was the definition of a leader for Birmingham\u2019s defense. He was a Team Captain, and posted a strong 69.8 Defensive Grade via PFF throughout the season.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, he was placed on IR midway through the year. It was terrible timing, as Ronnie was hitting his stride, having totaled 16 tackles and 3.5 sacks in just five games (five starts).<\/p>\n

Perkins joined Atlanta for the final week of the preseason.<\/a> He immediately made an impact, with an impressive three tackles and four QB pressures in one appearance.<\/p>\n

Ronnie immediately made an impact, which was made clear by his strong 80.2 pass rush grade via PFF. Now, he gets a chance to stick in Atlanta, signing back to their practice squad after originally being released during cut downs.<\/p>\n

Sadly, center Alec Lindstrom \u2013 who\u2019s spent two years with the Memphis Showboats \u2013 has been released by the New England Patriots.<\/p>\n

Anticipated practice squad transaction: OL Brenden Jaimes (6-5, 300) to be signed, C Alec Lindstrom released. <\/p>\n

Jaimes, who played at Nebraska, was a fifth-round pick of the Chargers in 2021. Appeared in 46 games (3 starts) with LA.<\/p>\n

Alec looked good with New England during the preseason. He didn\u2019t allow a single sack across three games, and originally was on the team\u2019s practice squad heading into the 2025 season.<\/p>\n
