Travis Kelce is enjoying life as an engaged man.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe New Heights\u201d podcast, the star Chiefs tight end, 35, opened up about some subtle changes since he asked the \u201cFornight\u201d singer, also 35, for her hand in marriage last week.<\/p>\n
Brother Jason, who has been married to wife Kylie since 2018, asked if there was \u201csomething different\u201d about Swift going from Travis\u2019 girlfriend to fianc\u00e9e. <\/p>\n

\u201cI felt that at the game actually, it was my first time ntroducing Taylor as my fiancee to a few of my teammates,\u201d Travis said about him and Swift attending Cincinnati University\u2019s loss to Nebraska last week at Arrowhead Stadium. <\/p>\n
\u201cYeah, it was pretty cool. I still get giddy. Exciting times. Still fresh.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kelce and Swift announced their engagement Aug. 26 on Instagram<\/a>, sharing a carousel of photos taken in a garden filled with pink and white flowers.<\/p>\n \u201cYour English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,\u201d the couple captioned the joint post<\/a>, which was set to her 2024 track,\u00a0\u201cSo High School,\u201d that\u2019s inspired by Kelce.<\/p>\n Kelce, who\u2019s entering his 13th NFL season, proposed to Swift at his Leawood, Kansas, estate \u2014 the home he purchased in 2023 for more privacy amid the couple\u2019s whirlwind romance, according to Page Six<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cYou gotta know your gal or your significant other,\u201d Travis said Wednesday when Jason asked if he had any advice. \u201cAnd it\u2019s gotta .. you can\u2019t let how somebody else does it make you feel like you need to do it that way.\u201d<\/p>\n In an interview with News 5 in Cleveland<\/a>, his father, Ed, revealed the proposal took place nearly two weeks ago at the All-Pro tight end\u2019s residence.<\/p>\n Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are seen in SoHo on October 11, 2024 in New York City. I think she was getting maybe a little antsy, but he was going to put her off \u2019til this week, to, you know, make some grand thing, to make it a big special event. And I told him repeatedly, you know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event \u2026 when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you.\u201d<\/p>\n Ed said the couple FaceTimed their parents to share the news of their engagement. <\/p>\n \u201cHe got her out there, they were about to go out to dinner, and he said, \u2018Let\u2019s go out and have a glass of wine.\u2019 They got out there, and that\u2019s when he asked her, and it was beautiful,\u201d Ed said, adding that he was at an Eagles practice when he got the call that the two were engaged. \u201cThey started FaceTiming me and their mother and her folks to make sure everybody knew.
