The Bucs and Saints also received the same preseason number (7.5), then finished five wins apart.<\/p>\n<p>The Jets (9.5) and Bills (10.5) were expected to battle for AFC East supremacy. The Browns (8.5) were projected to fight for a playoff spot, then finished with the worst record (3-14) in the NFL. The Vikings (7.5) nearly captured the No. 1 seed with 14 wins. The 49ers (11.5) fell from Super Bowl favorite to last place.
