With the possibility of the Bears becoming the 11th\u00a0NFL team to have a dome or retractable roof still years away, fans attending Soldier Field still have to prep for Chicago weather.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The weather is naturally impossible to predict through the season this far out, but we can look at what the climate averages are for each game date as the team prepares for its eight-game home schedule. <\/p>\n
Bear in mind (no pun intended) that this is not a forecast with the exception of Week 1, but rather a 30-year climate average for each of the eight dates on the team’s schedule. <\/p>\n
Week 1\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Monday, September 8 @ 7:15pm: The Bears host the Vikings for MNF.\u00a0 The average high is 78\u00b0 and average low is 60\u00b0.\u00a0 It\u2019s looking like the weather in Chicago is going to be cooler than average Monday night with temperatures possibly falling into the 50s during the game.<\/p>\n
Week 3 \u2013 Sunday, September 21 @ 3:25pm:\u00a0Cowboys at Bears. Average high is 74\u00b0 and the average low is 55\u00b0.<\/p>\n
Week 6 \u2013 Sunday, October 19 @ Noon:\u00a0Saints at Bears. Average high is 61\u00b0 and the average low is 44\u00b0.<\/p>\n
Week 9 \u2013 Sunday, November 9 @ Noon:\u00a0Giants at Bears. The average high is only 52\u00b0 and the average low is 37\u00b0.<\/p>\n
Week 11 \u2013 Sunday, November 23 @ Noon:\u00a0Steelers at Bears. The average high is 45\u00b0 and the average low is 31\u00b0.\u00a0 Chicago averages it\u2019s first snowfall in the middle of November.<\/p>\n
Week 14 \u2013 Sunday, December 14 @ Noon:\u00a0Browns at Bears. Average high is 37\u00b0 and the average low is 25\u00b0.<\/p>\n
Week 15 \u2013 Saturday, December 20 @TBD:\u00a0Packers at Bears. Average high is 35\u00b0 and the average low is 23\u00b0.<\/p>\n
