{"id":343241,"date":"2025-09-05T08:55:19","date_gmt":"2025-09-05T08:55:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/343241\/"},"modified":"2025-09-05T08:55:19","modified_gmt":"2025-09-05T08:55:19","slug":"how-titans-will-fare-in-cam-wards-rookie-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/343241\/","title":{"rendered":"How Titans will fare in Cam Ward&#8217;s rookie season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/sports\/titans\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/sports\/titans\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tennessee Titans<\/a> enter the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/titans\/2025\/09\/02\/titans-fan-survey-cam-ward-brian-callahan-amy-adams-strunk\/85609755007\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/titans\/2025\/09\/02\/titans-fan-survey-cam-ward-brian-callahan-amy-adams-strunk\/85609755007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cam Ward era<\/a> with plenty of change.<\/p>\n<p>Ward will open his rookie season behind <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/titans\/2025\/09\/02\/titans-offensive-line-cam-ward-jc-latham-dan-moore-broncos\/85894639007\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.tennessean.com\/story\/sports\/nfl\/titans\/2025\/09\/02\/titans-offensive-line-cam-ward-jc-latham-dan-moore-broncos\/85894639007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a made-over offensive line<\/a>, with JC Latham flipped to right tackle and Dan Moore signed to a long-term deal in free agency to play left tackle. Veteran Kevin Zeitler is a plug-and-play right guard while Lloyd Cushenberry III returns from a season-ending Achilles injury last year.<\/p>\n<p>Calvin Ridley is the established No. 1 receiver with a mix of veterans and rookies around him. Tennessee will hope at least one of rookie receivers Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike will establish as the third receiver.<\/p>\n<p>Defensively, the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/tennessee-titans\/336\" data-autotag=\"f9731e2d-52ac-46db-9b52-ab518dbe13b4\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Titans<\/a> return a stout defensive line and some encouraging new faces at linebacker.
