Dallas signed Miles Sanders and Javonte Williams and the Cowboys then added Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah on Day 3 of the NFL Draft.<\/p>\n

So the key theme of the Cowboys’ backfield in the coming months will be competition.<\/p>\n
Where would veteran free agent Nick Chubb of the Cleveland Browns fit in?<\/p>\n
He remains unsigned following the two biggest talent acquisition periods of the NFL offseason. … and Chubb has been in the gym, posting some admittedly impressive footage of himself going through workouts.<\/p>\n

Injuries have torn him down for the past two seasons. Chubb lost nearly all of his 2023 campaign after a gruesome leg injury and then last year, fighting his way back, he managed about 3 yards per carry.<\/p>\n
