It is usual for fans to be confident in any team when their record is 0-0, so to what degree will fans maintain that confidence if the Rams lose to the Texans in Week 1, even if it\u2019s just unlucky? There\u2019s not much room to go up but plenty of room to look down.<\/p>\n
The Rams have been surprising fans consistently since they won the Super Bowl in 2021.<\/p>\n
Many have pegged L.A. as top-3 favorites in the NFC because no other team gave the Eagles a run for their money in last year\u2019s playoffs. On the other hand, doubts about Matthew Stafford\u2019s ability to stay healthy over the course of a long season have lingered into the weekend and probably won\u2019t go away any time soon.<\/p>\n
It seems clear that the Rams are one of the best teams in the NFC and not just because of Stafford and Sean McVay.
