{"id":35226,"date":"2025-05-09T02:07:10","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T02:07:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/35226\/"},"modified":"2025-05-09T02:07:10","modified_gmt":"2025-05-09T02:07:10","slug":"broncos-te-caleb-lohner-signs-rookie-contract","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/35226\/","title":{"rendered":"Broncos TE Caleb Lohner signs rookie contract"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ENGLEWOOD, Colo. \u2014 The Broncos&#8217; 2025 seventh-round pick has officially inked his rookie contract.<\/p>\n<p>Tight end Caleb Lohner has signed his four-year rookie contract, the team announced Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Lohner, the 241st-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, was the second Broncos draft pick to sign his rookie deal.<\/p>\n<p>The 6-foot-7, 250-pound player is a former collegiate basketball player who began playing football in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s just a few plays that you see movement skills \u2014 and man, there&#8217;s a lot to work with,&#8221; Head Coach Sean Payton said after the draft.<\/p>\n<p>Lohner caught four passes \u2014 all of which resulted in touchdowns \u2014 in limited action in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The Broncos previously announced that <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.denverbroncos.com\/news\/broncos-p-jeremy-crawshaw-signs-rookie-contract\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">punter Jeremy Crawshaw has signed his rookie contract<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ENGLEWOOD, Colo. \u2014 The Broncos&#8217; 2025 seventh-round pick has officially inked his rookie contract.
