Rice has since been welcomed back as a team ambassador, and \u201cwas brought onto the field\u201d as a \u201cLegend of the Game\u201d at the end of the 2023 season. As scrutiny of the Ravens\u2019 policy \u201cintensified\u201d in the wake of the allegations against Tucker, along with a since-suspended police investigation into an alleged domestic assault involving WR Zay Flowers, the team said in February that it had \u201cnever formalized a hard-line approach\u201d (BALTIMORE BANNER, 5\/8<\/a>).<\/p>\n

END OF AN ERA: In Baltimore, Mike Preston wrote Tucker \u201cwas a face for this team, almost as much as\u201d late owner Art Modell, current owner Steve Bisciotti and team EVP\/Player Personnel Ozzie Newsome. He was a \u201cman of and about Baltimore, even singing opera and playing a psychiatrist on Royal Farms commercials.\u201d No player in Ravens history has \u201cappeared in more commercials than Tucker, once a marketer\u2019s dream.\u201d Preston: \u201cRegardless of what has happened in the past, it\u2019s time for this city to move on.
