This week, Chiefs Wire’s Ed Easton Jr. spoke to NFL Fashion Editor Kyle Smith about his fashion collaboration with House of Hellmann’s<\/a>, his role with the league, and co-hosting on the Super Bowl LIX red carpet.<\/p>\n

“I was the first one to create this position (NFL Fashion Editor<\/a>). I felt like it was about time and was very needed. I think the intersection of sports and fashion is, just right for so many opportunities as we celebrate our players and our fans.” said Smith who worked closely with the House of Hellmann’s collection, “But today I’m here as just an athlete stylist that likes to support our players, especially Kayvon (Thibodeaux), one of the most fashionable players in the league.”<\/p>\n

Hellmann’s Mayonnaise is introducing ‘House of Hellmann’s,’ an all-denim fashion collection that lends itself to making bold fashion statements on and off the field. Smith styled the first-of-its-kind denim wardrobe, designed for tastemakers and tailgaters.<\/p>\n

Smith was on hand at Super Bowl LIX for the Tubi<\/a> red carpet special ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>‘ and Philadelphia Eagles<\/a>‘ matchup. He co-hosted the event, which featured Travis Kelce’s parents fashionably walking the carpet.<\/p>\n

“Oh, that was so fun. It was like the first-ever red carpet hosted by Tubi for the Super Bowl. It was just really cool to see how fashion and football were coming together,” said Smith, “Obviously, there were a number of people just there to watch the Super Bowl. Still, with amazing outfits, you had Donna Kelce show up, as well as Lauren Graham from Gilmore Girls, who I love. I think that was just super cool to see how everybody’s so interested in this intersection right now.”<\/p>\n
