A showdown between two California high school football programs will reportedly be closed to the public on Friday night, with no explanation given currently as to why spectators won\u2019t be allowed inside. <\/p>\n
On Tuesday afternoon, 562Sports in Long Beach (Calif.)<\/a> reported that the game set to be played between Dorsey<\/a> and Compton<\/a> will be closed off to spectators. It is set to be played at Compton\u2019s new stadium, which just opened this season. <\/p>\n According to Sports Illustrated\u2019s Tarek Fattal<\/a>, Dorsey head coach Stafon Johnson wasn\u2019t given a reason for why they game won\u2019t allow fans inside. <\/p>\n The two schools, which are separated by less than 25 miles, faced off during the 2024 season for the first time in more than a decade. Compton won the game by forfeit, according to MaxPreps, despite the fact that the final score was 41-6 in favor of Dorsey. <\/p>\n This year, Compton is off to a 2-1 start with blowout wins over Rancho Dominguez and Centennial.
