Gabrielle Giffords, who was wounded in a 2011 shooting in Arizona, said she was \u201chorrified\u201d to hear of Kirk\u2019s shooting. \u201cDemocratic societies will always have political disagreements, but we must never allow America to become a country that confronts those disagreements with violence,\u201d she said on social media.<\/p>\n
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, a Democrat and potential national candidate, said, \u201cWe must speak with moral clarity. The attack on Charlie Kirk is horrifying and this growing type of unconscionable violence cannot be allowed in our society.\u201d A fire was set at his house.<\/p>\n
Michigan Gov.
