The Dallas Cowboys<\/a> and Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a> finalized a trade that would send big-play wide receiver George Pickens to Dallas in exchange for draft picks.<\/p>\n

The Cowboys are sending a third-round pick in 2026 and a fifth-round pick in 2027 to the Steelers in exchange for Pickens, who averaged 15.3 yards on 59 receptions last season, and a sixth-round pick in 2026.<\/p>\n

The deal gives Dallas a second high-profile wide receiver to go with CeeDee Lamb on a team that finished 11th in the NFL in passing offense last season under quarterback Dak Prescott.<\/p>\n

Pickens, 24, is entering his fourth NFL season and would be eligible for a contract extension at the conclusion of this year with his rookie deal expiring.<\/p>\n

The Steelers recently acquired wide receiver DK Metcalf from the Seattle Seahawks<\/a> and then signed him to a five-year, $150 million contract \u2013 which put Pickens’ status with the team in question.<\/p>\n
