The Seahawks signed cornerback Shaquill Griffin to their 53-man roster from their practice squad on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Receiver Cody White was released to make room on the 53-man roster, and because White is not subject to waivers as a vested veteran he was immediately signed to the practice squad.<\/p>\n
Griffin, who signed with the Seahawks this offseason, returning to the team that drafted him in 2017, was elevated from the practice squad for Seattle’s Week 1 game, but did not play.<\/p>\n
