The Los Angeles Rams<\/a> are interested in trading for Jalen Ramsey and bringing him back to SoFi Stadium to play for Sean McVay, according to a report by NFL Network\u2019s Ian Rapoport on Saturday during the draft. Just two years after the Rams traded Ramsey to the Miami Dolphins<\/a> for a third round pick and Hunter Long, and still looking for a cornerback to help ease the loss of parting with Ramsey in 2023, it appears that L.A. wants to be firmly in the mix for acquiring him again.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis old team, the Los Angeles Rams, from my understanding are at least one of the teams interested. That reunion would be fascinating, one of Sean McVay\u2019s favorite players that he\u2019s had.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the Dolphins having an awfully huge hit to their cap if they trade him, and the Rams only having about $17.5 million in cap space right now and that\u2019s before they sign any draft picks, it seems that Sean McVay and Les Snead are open to a reunion.<\/p>\n

The cost of Ramsey to the Rams might not be very much in 2025, but he\u2019d likely ask for a raise after he landed in L.A..<\/p>\n

Ramsey played in all 17 games last season after missing seven games in 2023, so it seems that the team would be comfortable with his health and his ability to be effective at age 31. Ramsy is only owed a $1.2 million base salary but he has bonuses and some big numbers on the horizon. We already know that Ramsey probably doesn\u2019t want to get traded anywhere unless he gets some guarantees, which is how he landed in Miami in the first place<\/a>.<\/p>\n
