But who among them have the ability, landing spot and opportunity to not only play, but thrive in their role and contend for a prestigious Rookie of the Year award?<\/p>\n<p id=\"pLaYEg\">Today\u2019s Question of the Day:<\/p>\n<p>Which Rookie has the Best Chance to Win a Rookie of the Year Award?<\/p>\n<p id=\"HyTur5\">My  answer: EDGE Mike Green<\/p>\n<p id=\"WoBh6C\">Though first-round pick and excitable safety Malaki Starks feels the easy answer, I argue it is instead Green.<\/p>\n<p id=\"EI0VaB\">Over the past decade, seven of the winners were edge rushers and the other three were cornerbacks. Edge rusher is far easier to impress with gaudy sack totals, pressures and tackles. It\u2019s far more difficult for the masses to recognize the impact of a safety when they\u2019re not being thrown toward. For Starks, he\u2019d have to rack up turnovers and make highlight-reel plays on a bi-weekly basis. Green, on the other hand, could churn out double-digit sacks and be a top contender, even if those sacks are for naught as an offense overcomes them with conversions on the same drive.<\/p>\n<p id=\"GQX2m0\">It\u2019s clearly reflected in the current <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsbook.fanduel.com\/navigation\/nfl?tab=rookies\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">FanDuel Sportsbook <\/a>odds, as edge rushers and pass-rushing defensive lineman grace the majority of the favorites.
