The Ravens’ 41-17 win versus the Browns in their home opener didn’t come without pain, as Ravens outside linebacker Kyle Van Noy suffered a hamstring injury and cornerback Marlon Humphrey left with a groin injury.<\/p>\n
“None of those [injuries] are any kind of season-ending deals at all,” Head Coach John Harbaugh said. “It’s just stuff we have to look at tomorrow and see where we stand.”<\/p>\n
Van Noy went down after a third-down incompletion with about 12 minutes left in the second quarter. He led the Ravens with 12.5 sacks last season, the fourth-most in the league, and was named to his first career Pro Bowl at 33 years old.<\/p>\n
With Van Noy sidelined, rookie outside linebacker Mike Green saw increased snaps, giving the talented second-round pick who led college football in sacks last season his opportunity to shine after a strong preseason.<\/p>\n
Green got a quarterback hit on third-and-4 late in the first half, but Joe Flacco denied the rookie of his first sack by getting rid of the pass as he was going to the turf.<\/p>\n
“Hopefully he’s fine and he’s good and comes back fast,” Green said of Van Noy. “I feel like I’m prepared enough. Of course, there are some things I have to get better at, but I think I’m ready. I can compete at this level.”<\/p>\n
Humphrey went to the locker room in the fourth quarter after testing out his limits on the sideline. The four-time Pro Bowler had three tackles before exiting, but also had an interception go through his hands that was caught for a Browns touchdown.<\/p>\n
