NFL’s 5 bird teams pulled off major milestone in Week 2: Eagles, Ravens, Seahawks, Falcons, Cardinals make history<\/a> originally appeared on The Sporting News<\/a><\/p>\n

Soaring, flying, winning.<\/p>\n

The NFL has five teams named after birds: The Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons and Arizona Cardinals.<\/p>\n

And on Sunday, as part of Week 2 of the 2025 NFL regular season, all five won.<\/p>\n

It’s the first time this has happened since devoted X tracker @RylieKeeves<\/a> began keeping track in 2020.<\/p>\n

The Ravens started it off in the 1 p.m. window Sunday with a dominant 41-17 win over the Cleveland Browns. Baltimore was actually outgained by Cleveland, but mistakes by the Browns made it an easy day for the Ravens.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks also played in the early window as they made the cross-country trip and beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, 31-17. They got one over on DK Metcalf, the receiver they sent to Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n

The Cardinals took a huge lead on the Carolina Panthers before holding on to win 27-22 by stifling a late Bryce Young drive that could’ve taken the lead.<\/p>\n

The Eagles pulled out a win in a Super Bowl rematch with the Kansas City Chiefs, 20-17. Jalen Hurts didn’t even throw for 100 yards, but he didn’t have to.<\/p>\n

The Falcons capped it off on Sunday Night Football with a 22-6 win over the Minnesota Vikings.<\/p>\n

They even did it on the same game, with none of the bird teams playing on either Thursday or Monday.<\/p>\n

It’s obviously a feat that could be ruined any week that two of the birds face off.<\/p>\n

But this week, they all got the job done, and their wings are surely feeling light and free.<\/p>\n
