The NFL<\/a> is in the thick of the playoffs. Two rounds are down and two remain to decide the Super Bowl champion for this season.<\/p>\n

The quest for Super Bowl 59<\/a> started with a 14-team playoff field, seven in the AFC and seven in the NFC. Six teams were eliminated from Super Bowl contention in the wild card round: the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>, Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a>, Denver Broncos<\/a>, Green Bay Packers<\/a>, Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/a> and Minnesota Vikings<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Another four teams were eliminated in the divisional round of the playoffs, including the NFC’s No. 1 seed Detroit Lions<\/a>. The Houston Texans<\/a>, Los Angeles Rams<\/a> and Baltimore Ravens<\/a> also saw their seasons come to an end.<\/p>\n

That leaves four teams remaining in the postseason. Here’s everything to know about who’s left in the NFL playoffs.<\/p>\n

How many teams are left in the NFL playoffs?<\/p>\n

Four teams remain in the NFL playoffs: the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> and Buffalo Bills<\/a> in the AFC and the Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> and Washington Commanders<\/a> in the NFC.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs earned the AFC’s No. 1 seed and a bye in the first round of the playoffs. In their first game in the divisional round, they beat the No. 4 seed Texans at home to set up their seventh consecutive trip to the conference championship game.<\/p>\n

Buffalo, the No. 2 seed in the AFC, beat No. 7 seed Denver in the wild-card round before getting a win over No. 3 seed Baltimore in the divisional round.<\/p>\n

The Eagles earned the No. 2 seed in the NFC and, thanks to the Lions’ loss, will have another home game this weekend. Philadelphia beat No. 7 seed Green Bay in the wild-card round and the No. 4 seed Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round.<\/p>\n

Washington is the lowest seed remaining in the playoffs. The Commanders have won two road games in the postseason \u2013 against No. 3 seed Tampa Bay in the wild-card round and against No. 1 Detroit in the divisional round.<\/p>\n
