Denver Broncos<\/a> wide receiver Courtland Sutton has always been impressed with how Broncos<\/a> Country travels on the road. Especially at SoFi Stadium, where the Broncos travel this week to play the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cMan, it\u2019s always a lot of fun,” said Sutton. “I think it\u2019s hilarious, there\u2019s always a point in the game that you hear the, \u2018Let\u2019s go Broncos.\u2019 And it\u2019s like \u2013 I don\u2019t want to start no beef or nothing \u2013 but it\u2019s always funny how another set of fans won\u2019t really wanna like start that chant, until they hear Broncos Country hitting the chant. And it\u2019s like one of those things where you can \u2013 it\u2019s not like a little small corner of the stadium \u2013 it sounds like we in there, which we are.”<\/p>\n

The Broncos have always had a strong showing of fans at opposing stadiums, always obvious on TV broadcasts because of their orange jerseys. Even at the Chargers’ previous homes, Qualcomm Stadium and (for a brief time from 2017-2019 while SoFi was being built) Dignity Health Sports Park, Denver fans showed up in droves to cheer on their team. In fact, SoFi Stadium is a place where opposing fans from across the league<\/a> have routinely outnumbered the home team, so much so that the Los Angeles Rams<\/a> (who share SoFi with the Chargers) had to use a silent snap count in several home games<\/a> in 2023.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s cool to be able to have that fanbase,” Sutton said, “and have Broncos Country travel the way that they do. \u2026 It\u2019s cool to be able to know that, whatever stadium we go to, Broncos Country\u2019s gonna be there, showing up, showing out, being loud and being rowdy and supporting us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Broncos<\/a> are going to need their fans this week, as they face the 2-0 Chargers on Sunday. The winner of that game could move into first place<\/a> in the division going into Week 4.<\/p>\n
