(Photo by Brace Hemmelgarn\/Getty Images)\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rawchili.com\/nfl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/YU3F7SHUDFGULPNHHWCLTXQXHM.jpg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"533\"\/>Attorneys for Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores and several other plaintiffs have \u201cfiled for reconsideration of a court order that shifted some of their lawsuit against the NFL and multiple teams to the league\u2019s arbitration process.\u201d Getty Images <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph sections-leagues-and-governing-bodies \">Attorneys for Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores and several other plaintiffs have \u201cfiled for reconsideration of a court order that shifted some of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Daily\/Closing-Bell\/2022\/02\/01\/Flores\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Daily\/Closing-Bell\/2022\/02\/01\/Flores\/\">lawsuit against the NFL and multiple teams<\/a> to the league\u2019s arbitration process.\u201d In a request filed earlier this week with the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, Flores &#8212; along with fellow coaches <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Daily\/Issues\/2022\/04\/08\/Leagues-and-Governing-Bodies\/Flores-Lawsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Daily\/Issues\/2022\/04\/08\/Leagues-and-Governing-Bodies\/Flores-Lawsuit\/\">Steve Wilks and Ray Horton<\/a> &#8212; \u201cargued that the 2023 order should be reconsidered based on an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2025\/08\/14\/judge-rules-flores-lawsuit-can-proceed-in-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/Articles\/2025\/08\/14\/judge-rules-flores-lawsuit-can-proceed-in-court\/\">August ruling<\/a> that found insurmountable flaws in the league\u2019s arbitration process.\u201d The attorneys in this week\u2019s filing wrote that the ruling \u201c\u2018constitutes definitive controlling law\u2019 over the previous order.\u201d Following the 2023 order, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell \u201cnamed Peter C.
