Parker Romo will make his second consecutive start in place of Younghoe Koo. the team <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AtlantaFalcons\/status\/1969102971507032308\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:announced;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">announced<\/a> on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Romo was a perfect 5-for-5 on field goals attempts and converted his lone extra point attempt in Atlanta&#8217;s Week 2 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Despite the breakout performance, Romo is still on the practice squad while Koo remains on the team&#8217;s active 53-man roster.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/atlanta-falcons\/323\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Falcons;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Falcons<\/a> signed Romo after Koo struggled in the team&#8217;s Week 1 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The former Pro Bowler missed a 44-yard attempt that would have sent the game to overtime. Koo nearly missed another kick, which was enough for head coach Raheem Morris to make the change in Week 2.<\/p>\n<p>Romo, 28, got the start against his former team and carried the offense on a day where the offense scored just a single touchdown.<\/p>\n<p>The Falcons also ruled out cornerback A.J. Terrell and wide receiver Casey Washington for Sunday&#8217;s game against the Carolina Panthers. Terrell suffered a hamstring injury in Week 2 while Washington is still recovering from a concussion he suffered in Week 1.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>Cornerback Mike Ford Jr. has been listed as questionable for Sunday&#8217;s game.
