So much has happened regarding the Giants\u2019 quarterback room since Tommy DeVito became the first QB under contract for 2025 in early March.<\/p>\n
The team signed two experienced signal callers later that month in Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston before also moving up to draft Jaxson Dart late in the first round of the NFL draft barely two weeks ago.<\/p>\n
From the outside, those maneuvers leave DeVito \u2014 the New Jersey-bred fan favorite nicknamed \u201cTommy Cutlets\u201d who started eight games over the previous two seasons \u2014 as the presumptive No. 4 quarterback when training camp opens in July.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s the same mindset I\u2019ve always had as an undrafted free agent, the same mindset regardless of the other guys [that were brought in],\u201d DeVito told The Post on Friday at an appearance at a PAL camp in The Bronx, his first public comments since the additions were made. \u201cJust continue to go out and make the most of every opportunity that I have, and I\u2019ll get what I\u2019ve worked for.
