Kershaw, a cornerstone of the Dodgers organization, recently told reporters, \u201cI\u2019m going to call it. I\u2019m going to retire\u2026 I\u2019m at peace with it. Dave Roberts Recognizes Kershaw\u2019s Greatness<\/p>\n

Harbaugh isn\u2019t the only coach who knows how good Kershaw is; the Dodgers manager also knows it. Dave Roberts knows that there are many good pitchers, but very few like him. With the consistency he has had, it\u2019s impossible to find his equal.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think he\u2019s the greatest pitcher in this generation,\u201d Roberts said. \u201cThere\u2019s obviously a lot of great pitchers. I\u2019ve just never been around a greater competitor. Very accountable, very consistent. He\u2019s made me better. And I think that we have grown together, so I feel fortunate to have been able to manage him and be around him for 10 years.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2018, Harbaugh had already had the opportunity to see Kershaw on the mound in a game, and he commented on it on X, writing, \u201cChance to see the best in great seats. Also good chance for foul ball. Wow! Love the way he extends arms above head on stretch\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
