Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson\u2019s long-awaited acting debut<\/a> went off with a bang\u2026 literally.<\/p>\n After nearly two months of waiting, fans finally got to meet Jackson\u2019s \u201cdeadly, dangerous\u201d character E-Tone in the ninth episode of the hit Starz series \u201cPower Book III: Raising Kanan.\u201d<\/p>\n When it was announced that the two-time MVP would appear on the show, it was unclear just how his character would fit into the storyline until now.<\/p>\n The Baltimore Banner thanks its sponsors. Become one.<\/a><\/p>\n E-Tone is a hitman who is working with a group of New Jersey henchmen under the direction of Unique (played by rapper Joey BadA$$).<\/p>\n Nearly 15 minutes into the episode, we see E-Tone tucked away in the cut at a gay nightclub, watching David Kan, a recurring side character this season. While David is in the bathroom doing drugs, E-Tone appears from the stall behind Kan and shoots him, leaving him dead on the bathroom floor.<\/p>\n Later in the episode, Unique praises E-Tone for his skills. Jackson talked with PEOPLE<\/a> about his role and recalled his first reactions.<\/p>\n \u201cI was really shocked with that part,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen I got to the dressing room, they were like, \u2018You know what you\u2019re going to be doing?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Nah, no one told me anything.\u2019 They were like, \u2018Yeah, you\u2019re going to be killing a guy at the club.\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018What?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Jackson, 28, also told PEOPLE he\u2019s ready to see what people of think of his acting skills. Since the episode dropped, fans have posted online about the star quarterback\u2019s cameo.<\/p>\n
