In return, the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/teams\/houston-texans\/325\" data-autotag=\"4fdb1a06-1d90-42ff-b7f7-5268ecaf7955\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Texans<\/a> received multiple picks, including the No. 34 overall selection, the second pick of Round 2.<\/p>\n<p>Houston used that pick on offense as they did for much of the draft, selecting <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/ncaaf\/teams\/iowa-state-cyclones\/3425\/\" data-autotag=\"c7575692-69d6-4177-88f5-d00ab2dd8aac\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Iowa State<\/a> wide receiver <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/players\/jayden-higgins\/1274492\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Jayden Higgins<\/a>. He was the first of six draft picks the Texans spent on offense; Houston selected his former college teammate <a href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/nfl\/players\/jaylin-noel\/1286370\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Jaylin Noel<\/a> in Round 3.<\/p>\n<p>Higgins signed his rookie contract with the Texans and, in doing so, made draft history: He is the first Round 2 pick to sign a fully guaranteed contract. It&#8217;s for four years and $11.7 million, per <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AdamSchefter\/status\/1920587587586072994\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">multiple<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TomPelissero\/status\/1920585796349727198\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Higgins and Noel were on-field on May 9 for the start of Texans rookie minicamp.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Starving for football action shot.
