Week four of the college football has just concluded, and two quarterbacks, South Carolina’s LaNorris Sellers<\/a> and LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier<\/a>, were huge winners before anybody even took a snap. ESPN conducted a poll<\/a> of 25 NFL scouts and executives to find out who they think will end up as the top quarterback selected in the 2026 draft.<\/p>\n

Seven different quarterbacks received votes, but two stood out, far above the rest. ack as the answer for QB1 among the 25 different responses.<\/p>\n

LaNorris Sellers was the top vote-getter with 8 while Garrett Nussmeier was right there with him at 7.<\/p>\n

Then came a significant drop off to Miami’s Carson Beck (3), Oklahoma’s John Mateer (3), Penn State’s Drew Allar (2), Arizona State<\/a>‘s Sam Leavitt (1) and Texas’ Arch Manning (1).<\/p>\n

For Sellers and Nussmeier, I can’t think of more perfect definition, worthy of Webster’s even, of “improving your draft stock.”<\/p>\n

When game time came this weekend, Sellers went out and threw for 300 yards, as well as two touchdowns, to go along with no interceptions. Albeit it came in a loss, at Missouri. Sellers is averaging 10 yards per pass this season, to go along with a 164.1 passer rating.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Moving on to Nussmeier, he went 25\/31 passing on Saturday, for three TDs and 273 yards.
