The Pittsburgh Steelers<\/a>‘ Week 4 international matchup in Dublin is almost here \u2014 and a strong Minnesota Vikings<\/a>‘ defense stand in the way of a memorable Ireland homecoming<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Taking down the Vikings won\u2019t be easy \u2014 as their top-10 defense has already proven to be a difference maker through three weeks. To help Pittsburgh improve to 3-1, these three offensive keys to victory will be crucial in breaking through against Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Despite little help from Pittsburgh’s offensive line, Warren has led the Steelers<\/a> in yards from scrimmage in two consecutive games \u2014 and his versatility as both a rusher and pass catcher should pay dividends against Minnesota. Getting the ball in Warren’s hands is key and could take some of the pressure off Rodgers after becoming familiar with the turf over the past three weeks.<\/p>\n

Pittsburgh hasn’t had a problem winning the turnover battle three weeks into the season \u2014 but that could change in a hurry against Minnesota. The Vikings’ seven takeaways rank third-most in the NFL \u2014 five of which came against the Cincinnati Bengals last week, along with two defensive touchdowns courtesy of CB Isaiah Rodgers. To defeat Minnesota in Week 4, the Steelers can’t shoot themselves in the foot like the Bengals did last Sunday \u2014 which may be easier said than done.<\/p>\n

Despite boasting two of the fastest and most dynamic deep threats in the league in Calvin Austin III and DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh’s passing attack hasn’t really taken advantage of their respective skill sets via the deep ball. While the offensive line’s inability to sustain clean pockets likely plays a huge factor, the overreliance on short-to-intermediate passes mixed with poor rushing attempts has made the offense all too predictable \u2014 which is the last thing Pittsburgh needs when doing battle with Brian Flores’ Vikings defense.<\/p>\n
