The Kansas City Chiefs are still in the market for a wide receiver, and they could target Mecole Hardman after his release from the Packers practice squad. According to reports<\/a>, the Packers are moving on without Hardman, which is easy to understand since Green Bay has too many receivers to deal with. Romeo Doubs is the latest Packer who could be gone next, so there was no way that the Packers were going to keep Hardman on the starting roster. When Jayden Reed and Christian Watson return from their injuries, it will become difficult for another new receiver to jump in and start fresh in this offense, while they did draft Savion Williams and Matthew Golden<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, this doesn\u2019t spell the end for Hardman\u2019s career, as it wouldn\u2019t be a surprise if he ends up back on the Chiefs\u2019 starting roster. Kansas City\u2019s 2025 campaign hasn\u2019t been all sunshine and rainbows as they\u2019ve been frustrated with the current receiver room. Since they\u2019re unlikely to trade for a superstar or get Tyreek Hill back, this is the most logical suitor for Hardman. Originally selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the former Georgia product might not be the most \u201cexplosive\u201d weapon that would bolster the receiver room, but it adds more stability for Patrick Mahomes\u2019 aerial attack.<\/p>\n

Like the Chiefs, these teams are looking to add some firepower to their offense as well, and could sign him right before the postseason.<\/p>\n

The Dallas Cowboys should be in the market for at least a wide receiver after losing CeeDee Lamb to an injury<\/a>. They can\u2019t afford for Dak Prescott to rely on just George Pickens<\/a> and Jalen Tolbert for most of the receiving snaps. While Pickens is a high-level wideout, he hasn\u2019t been living up to the standards that the Cowboys hoped for. Lamb will return at least after the next two games, but they shouldn\u2019t risk the idea of rushing him on the field.<\/p>\n

With Hardman, he isn\u2019t the most explosive weapon, but at least he has the vertical to catch the deep balls. He isn\u2019t going to be a Lamb 2.0, but he\u2019s cheap and fits in the Cowboys\u2019 budget as an emergency depth fill.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles Chargers<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers have all of the momentum in the world<\/a>, and they can\u2019t let the aura die. At 3-0, they should continue to put pressure on their opponents, and this means upgrading the passing offense for quarterback Justin Herbert. Finally, Quentin Johnston is showing signs of consistency, and Ladd McConkey<\/a>, along with veteran Keenan Allen, are proving that they\u2019re the real deal. To make things better, Hardman could step up and be an extra body on the field and make life way much easier for Herbert to lean on.<\/p>\n

Las Vegas Raiders<\/p>\n

However, the Las Vegas Raiders are in dire need of a wide receiver. With Tre Tucker and Jakobi Meyers, they can\u2019t expect the Raiders to do much if Geno Smith<\/a> is having a struggling season at 0-3.
