But they didn’t expect exactly this makeup.<\/p>\n

Specifically, Emari Demercado was missing.<\/p>\n

Trey Benson was getting his expected solid workload.<\/p>\n

But behind Benson was Michael Carter, a former Jets draft pick.<\/p>\n

Yes, Emari Demercado is active for the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday Night Football.<\/p>\n

The problem is he’s not getting any real action.<\/p>\n

He was expected to potentially be the passing-down back behind Benson, but the Cardinals weren’t operating in that way for most of the game. Demercado did get some work as a pass-blocking back.<\/p>\n
