Kelly Villares is the ultimate It Girl. Villares, 23, exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about all things Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, game day glam, and of course, her super trendy DCC-themed campaign with Kendra Scott. \u201cThis is such a super exciting collection, and I was so honored to be a part of a campaign,\u201d she gushed to Us. \u201cWhen I was little, actually, [Kendra Scott jewelry] was always on my Christmas list. Being able now to represent this collection, it’s completely full circle.\u201d The line features blue sapphire pieces \u2014 which perfectly match the iconic colors of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader uniforms \u2014 including star earrings, pendants necklaces, chain bracelets, cowboy boot charms, football pendants and more. \u201cPersonally, I love a good, dainty moment so I like the Tiny Football necklace and also the Tiny Cowboy Boot,\u201d Villares said. \u201cI can’t pick between those two, but those are my favorites.\u201d Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders Support the \u2018Taylor Swift Effect\u2019 on the NFL \u2014 But They Did It 1st This is the America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders star\u2019s second season cheering for the football team after getting cut for the 2023-2024 season. She recalled the day she found out she made the squad with Us, gushing that it was the \u201cbest day of [her] life.\u201d \u201cI remember I couldn’t stop crying because I could not believe that this was actually happening,\u201d she said, smiling. \u201cMy favorite memory from that day was calling my dad because he just broke into tears with me, because it’s almost like he went on this journey with me. It was so cute to be able to tell the people that supported me the most that I [made] it.\u201d Kendra Scott. Part of her journey of becoming a DCC was ditching her lifelong blonde hair and going brunette \u2014 which came as a surprise to Villares in the salon. \u201cI actually was color matched for a different shade of blonde before the makeovers happened,\u201d she explained of her 2023 transformation. \u201cWhen I got to the salon and they started putting the brown swatches near my eyes, I was thinking it was going to be lowlights.\u201d After having the realization her whole head would be dyed, Villares said her \u201cheart sank.\u201d \u201cI was like, \u2018No way.\u2019\u201d She later came around to her new hair color, and now doesn’t \u201cever\u201d see herself returning to blonde. Kendra Scott. Part of her new \u2018do came with a switchup of her go-to jewelry preferences. \u201cGrowing up, I only wore silver,\u201d she told Us. \u201cThen after I changed from a blonde to a brunette, I started diving in more with gold.\u201d Now, she is a fan of both metals, and even mixes them together. Speaking of hair, Villares has a new team member, Faith Ward, who has stood out to fans for rocking a ponytail on the field, instead of the cheerleaders\u2019 signature bombshell curls. \u201cSometimes, I’m not gonna lie, I’m jealous of her a little bit because it’s so hot and we’re sweating a lot,\u201d Villares quipped. \u201cBut I don’t think I could give up the hair whips and the full volume. I love good hairography.\u201d Kendra Scott. Villares told Us that she gets her wow-worthy curls by using a \u201ctiny one inch barrel\u201d curling iron. \u201cI make those really small so then [it falls throughout the day,\u201d she explained. \u201cWe have an entire game day rehearsal. It’s a very, very long day. So I make sure that they’re really tight, because then by the end, they’re nice, loose, voluminous waves.\u201d When it comes to makeup, Villares noted that with each step of her makeup, she\u2019s spraying her face with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray to ensure that her glam is long-lasting. She also sets her face with the brand\u2019s Flawless Finish Powder in the fair shade to help \u201cbrightens up\u201d her face. As for her lip combo, Villares\u2019 go-to is the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Lip Liner in the medium shade, which she then fills in with the coordinating fair lipstick. \u201cOur biggest concern is that [makeup] stays on our face,\u201d Villares said. \u201cWe tan a lot, and a lot of times we’re dancing and we’re sweating.\u201d She also revealed that sometimes she\u2019ll sweat off her Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation, but she learned a hack from her teammates, which is to \u201cheavily self-tan that forehead\u201d so even if her foundation moves, she still looks picture-ready. Kendra Scott. Another thing Villares and her teammates are great at is hyping each other up. \u201cI have to give a special shout-out to Kleine [Powell],\u201d she praised. \u201cShe is always bringing the energy on game days. Even a 12 p.m. kickoff, which means we were at the facility at 6:45 in the morning.\u201d Ahead of game days, Villares is always making sure that her one and only uniform is ready to go. \u201cI don’t think there’s anything I would change about it. I mean, it’s just so classy and so elegant,\u201d she gushed. \u201cI’ll never forget when I got the uniform for the first time in person, I was like, \u2018Oh my gosh, I can’t even touch this.\u2019 Like, there’s no way I’m putting this on my body, from the detailing of the stars to the fringe, there’s not one thing I would be like, Oh, I would change that.\u201d Every Game Day Outfit Taylor Swift Has Worn While Supporting Travis Kelce At the end of each season, the athletes have to do \u201cuniform turn in,\u201d where they \u201chand everything in right before auditions\u201d until they\u2019ve made it to the next season \u2014 or even after retiring.
