Jalen McLeod<\/a>, a linebacker from Auburn University, on Saturday was selected by the Jaguars No. 194 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft<\/a> \u2013 the 18th selection of Round 6.<\/p>\n McLeod (6-feet-2, 241 pounds), who played three seasons at Appalachian State before playing the past two seasons at Auburn, registered 22.5 sacks in five collegiate seasons. He had 13.5 for Auburn, including eight this past season.<\/p>\n McLeod registered 181 career tackles with 38 tackles for loss and he had 14 tackles for loss in 2024.<\/p>\n McLeod became the sixth player from Auburn selected by the Jaguars in the NFL Draft, the first since running back Tank Bigsby (Round 3) in 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"JACKSONVILLE \u2013 The Jaguars continued focusing on defense late Saturday.
