One NFL player accused the Los Angeles Rams of piping in fake crowd noise during games at SoFi Stadium.<\/p>\n
Indianapolis Colts defensive back Camryn Bynum suggested that the Rams use some sort of fake crowd noise to compensate for their unenthusiastic home crowds. In an appearance on the \u201cDowns 2 Business\u201d podcast ahead of the Colts\u2019 Week 4 game against the Rams, Bynum suggested some of his Minnesota Vikings teammates felt the same way when playing in the stadium in 2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey play fake crowd noise because their crowd isn\u2019t that turnt,\u201d Bynum said. \u201cThe Rams have a good fanbase, but they\u2019ve moved around so much, it\u2019s not true fans. It\u2019s more like a celebrity show in there.<\/p>\n
\u201cOn third downs, the crowd is sitting down, but somehow there\u2019s noise coming from somewhere. We\u2019re just looking around last year, like, hold on, that noise is coming from the speakers, because nobody\u2019s turnt up right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Minnesota lost both games.<\/p>\n Both the Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, who share the venue, have infamously had trouble with visiting fans taking over the stadium<\/a> during certain games. Perhaps the Rams tried to take some steps to make life difficult on the visitors in light of that.<\/p>\n If Bynum\u2019s claims are correct, the Rams could actually get in trouble for this. The Atlanta Falcons were found to have done something similar<\/a> a decade ago, and were ultimately fined and docked a draft pick for it.<\/p>\n
