A young Kansas City Chiefs supporter had a special moment with Patrick MAhomes taken away from him, all because of the gutless and selfish actions of an adult fan.<\/p>\n
Over the past few weeks, there have been several bizarre instances of a fan at a sporting event interfering and taking away a special souvenir from another supporter. First, it was the \u201cPhillies Karen\u201d incident during the Philadelphia Phillies-Miami Marlins game<\/a> on Sept. 6 that quickly broke the internet.<\/p>\n And then in the Las Vegas Raiders-Los Angeles Chargers Week 2 game, you had \u201cChargers Ken\u201d stealing a touchdown ball that Keenan Allen<\/a> was trying to gift to his wife. A peculiar sports trend, yes.<\/p>\n Well, the latest chapter of this bizarre sports fan trend occurred after the Chiefs-Giants Week 3 \u201cSunday Night Football\u201d game. It involved Patrick Mahomes trying to make a young fan\u2019s day special.<\/p>\n The ML Football X\/Twitter account shared a video of Patrick Mahomes running over to give a kid his game-worn sleeve after the game. An adult fan rudely interfered and took the souvenir before the boy could receive it:<\/p>\n If this video goes viral, hopefully Mahomes and the Chiefs will come across it and speak to the fan to make up for it, as the Phillies and Marlins did with the family who had to endure the anger of Phillies Karen.<\/p>\n Patrick Mahomes & Chiefs Look To Get Back To .500 Against Ravens As noted by Eric Edholm of NFL.com<\/a>, the Chiefs\u2019 Week 2 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles dropped them to 0-2 for the first time since the 2014 season. But Sunday\u2019s 22-9 win over the Giants may have saved KC\u2019s season, moving them to 1-2 ahead of the Week 4 clash with the Baltimore Ravens.<\/p>\n Including the postseason, Mahomes is 5-1 in his career against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. Baltimore\u2019s one victory over the three-time Super Bowl champion came in Week 2 of the 2021 season, a year where the Ravens went on to miss the postseason anyway with an 8-9 record.<\/p>\n The Chiefs have never been 1-3 with Mahomes at the helm.
