The Eagles weren\u2019t able to get out of Tampa unscathed, and had several notable injuries during Sunday\u2019s game. In the first half, it was DE Ogbo Okoronkwo (triceps) <\/a>and RG Tyler Steen (knee)<\/a>, and then in the second half, it was RT Lane Johnson (shoulder)<\/a> and DT Jalen Carter (shoulder) \u2014 Saquon Barkley was also slow to get up later in the game, but was able to stay in.<\/p>\n

Jalen Carter was listed as questionable to return due to his shoulder injury, but soon afterward was back on the field. Unfortunately, that didn\u2019t last long, and the NFL\u2019s top defender, was once again sidelined through the end of the game.<\/p>\n

For obvious reasons having Carter, along with Lane Johnson, injured is going to be a problem for both sides of the ball. We saw in Week 1 what the Eagles defense would look like without Carter\u2019s elite dominance up front, and even though Fred Johnson is a solid back-up, Lane Johnson is 1-of-1 at right tackle.<\/p>\n

Hopefully these guys aren\u2019t out long term.
