What does one say? Where does one begin? No one knows when the Baltimore Ravens<\/a> will be at full strength again, not even the Ravens<\/a> themselves.<\/p>\n

They were short-handed entering their tussle with the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>. They leave this one having hung another loss on their ledger. They leave K.C. knowing their medical staff will be even busier this week.<\/p>\n

Three losses in four weeks… Seriously, who saw this coming? Now, Baltimore must regroup without so many of their starters.<\/p>\n

Add Lamar Jackson, Roquan Smith, Marlon Humphrey, and Nate Wiggins to the seemingly ever-growing list of the Ravens’ walking wounded.<\/p>\n

At this point, we’ll take our victories wherever and however we can find them. Positivity is needed, and Ravens fans and the media found a reason to smile while listening to Kyle Hamilton’s postgame press conference.<\/p>\n

Kyle Hamilton apologizes to Ravens fans for the results and some of his previous statements.<\/p>\n

Nothing can be said to explain this horrendous start to the Ravens’ season, but while speaking with select media members<\/a>, All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton did his best to try.<\/p>\n

“First, I just want to apologize to the fans. The product that we’re putting on the field right now is not up to par with what the Ravens have been in the past and have been in the recent past. I think we know that. We’re trying our best to correct it, but obviously, something is wrong, so it’s up to all of us to try and fix that.”<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, Hamilton stepped up to defend his defensive coordinator, Zach Orr<\/a>. While doing so, some found offense because he used the word ‘spoiled’ to describe the Ravens fan base. Listening to his tone leads one to believe that he hadn’t used the term in a derogatory manner, but he found cause to make amends anyway.<\/p>\n

“Also, I feel like early in the week, I used a poor choice of words, just saying that Ravens fans were spoiled. I retract that. I meant in the sense that Ravens fans have been accustomed to great defense [and] great teams. [There] haven’t been a lot of teams in Ravens history, since 1996, to underachieve to the point where fans felt disappointed in the season as a whole, and I feel like as of right now, in Week 4, obviously, [there is] a long way to go in this season, we’re disappointed, and I’m sure the fans are disappointed, too. We have to get it fixed.”<\/p>\n

This sums everything up perfectly:<\/p>\n

“We have to put a product and a team on the field that fans are proud to say they root for, proud to say they spend money on tickets to come to the games and support us.”<\/p>\n

Ravens fans aren’t going anywhere, but we get the theory. The heartbreak suffered during the postseason recently birthed a hunger for a revenge tour. Things certainly haven’t gone as anyone has hoped.<\/p>\n

It’s time to refocus and play some better football. Sure, we know these press conferences are a part of the deal, but raise your hand if you’ve also grown fatigued by all of the continuing conversation.<\/p>\n
