Bishop\u2019s second-quarter interception ended a Saints\u2019 red zone drive at the goal line and, had he missed, would\u00a0likely have\u00a0resulted in a touchdown.<\/p>\n
The interception was unique. The pass was thrown by wide receiver Chris Olave on a trick play that was supposed to end with a reception and score by quarterback Spencer Rattler. Bishop\u2019s interception was the Bills\u2019 first pick of a pass thrown by a non-quarterback since 2009 when linebacker Chris Draft intercepted Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams.<\/p>\n
Sticking with the defense, defensive end Joey Bosa, who joined the team this season and took a lot of criticism from Bills fans as he missed\u00a0on several tackles for a loss\u00a0throughout the game, forced a fumble that ended the game. While the fumble was recovered by New Orleans, it was on a fourth-down play\u00a0that resulted in the Saints turning the ball over to Buffalo who went into victory formation\u00a0to end the game. Bosa\u2019s forced fumble was the 21st of his career, tying him for fifth among active NFL players.<\/p>\n
The Bills scored 31 points on Sunday. Something that\u00a0didn\u2019t\u00a0seem like it was going to happen at halftime when they were struggling to get first downs. But they did it, and it was the third time\u00a0in\u00a0team\u00a0history (and the first since 1992) that they have scored 30 or more points in each of their first four games.<\/p>\n

Speaking of scoring during the first four weeks of a season, the Bills are the only team to have scored a touchdown on the opening drive of every game this year.<\/p>\n
Of course, we all know that this is it. The final season at the current season:\u00a0The Farewell Season. And the Bills are making the most of it. They have won 14 straight\u00a0regular-season games in Highmark Season.\u00a0It\u2019s\u00a0the second-longest streak in team history. The record: 15 home games won over the 1990-1991 seasons.\u00a0Next week, the Bills take on the New England Patriots at home. Will they match the 1990s record?<\/p>\n
