John Mara became team president in 2005, having filled various roles over the years prior.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Under Mara\u2019s leadership, the Giants secured Super Bowl victories in 2008 and 2012.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Despite his diagnosis, Mara plans to continue his active involvement with the Giants, supported by his family and professional team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Click here;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Click here<\/a> to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
