His immediate future with the New Orleans Saints<\/a> has been in question all offseason, which is why the team drafted Tyler Shough in the second round, but few expected him to retire.<\/p>\n Now that Carr is done, there\u2019s only one quarterback from the 2014 draft who remains on an active roster: Jimmy Garoppolo.<\/p>\n Every other quarterback from the class is either a free agent or retired, from Blake Bortles to Garrett Gilbert. Garoppolo is the last man standing, currently on a one-year deal with the Rams<\/a>.<\/p>\n Garoppolo hasn’t been a starter since 2023 when he was with the Raiders but he’s been a quality backup for the Rams. In his 11-year career so far, Garoppolo has played 82 games, made 64 starts and thrown 96 touchdown passes.<\/p>\n Among all quarterbacks who were drafted in 2014, Garoppolo has the second-highest career earnings with $154 million made.
