Charles Wenzelberg \/ New York Post<\/p>\n<p>The Jets will have Isaiah Davis serve as Breece Hall\u2019s backup against the Cowboys on Sunday. Davis has been primarily a third-down back. Kene Nwangwu is the other running back on the roster, but he has missed three games with a hamstring injury.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsaiah\u2019s a great back,\u201d quarterback Justin Fields said. \u201cWe\u2019ve got Kene as well. Like I\u2019ve said since OTAs, since I got here, our running back room is loaded.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Glenn said DE Jermaine Johnson (ankle) is \u201cday to day.\u201d He has missed the past two games.<\/p>\n<p>Advertisement<\/p>\n<p>The Jets did not practice Wednesday but estimated that Johnson would not have practiced if they did.<\/p>\n<p>Glenn said Nwangwu is also day to day. CB Michael Carter II (concussion) is not expected to be ready for Sunday, Glenn said.<\/p>\n<p>Jarvis BrownleeJr., who the team acquired in a trade last week, is practicing and could take Carter\u2019s place Sunday.
