She was quickly becoming the latest \u201cPhillies Karen\u201d<\/a> before caving under public pressure.<\/p>\n

A Giants fan named Nina Miller went viral for all the wrong reasons after their loss to the Chiefs at MetLife Stadium on Sept. 21 for snatching a headband Patrick Mahomes was trying to give to a boy in Kansas City gear, who was celebrating his 10th birthday.<\/p>\n

\u201cYo, she just stole that from me,\u201d the boy, Joey Masters, said in a video from the scene.<\/p>\n

Miller and her husband bragged about getting the headband on TikTok, claiming Mahomes went \u201cstraight to her,\u201d despite video showing otherwise.<\/p>\n

After later posting a video defending her actions and claiming she didn\u2019t steal the headband, she apologized and vowed to give the headband back.<\/p>\n

Miller and Masters addressed each other on camera during \u201cInside Edition\u201d<\/a> this week, and Miller apologized after Masters said he was \u201csad\u201d after losing out on the headband.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry, honey. I really am. I swear,\u201d Miller told Masters.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe you,\u201d Masters replied.<\/p>\n

After Miller told Masters she\u2019d send the headband back, Masters said, \u201cThank you for sending it back. That\u2019d be amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Miller choosing to make amends came after she posted a defiant TikTok video, in which she says she \u201cpaid for my damn tickets\u201d and said other fans were coming from other parts of the stadium to come to her section near the end of the game.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not a thief,\u201d Miller said in that video. \u201cBoth of our hands were on it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

She pulled an about-face in a subsequent TikTok video.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the game, with all the noise and all the excitement, I honestly thought that Pat Mahomes was giving me the headband,\u201d Miller said. \u201cI reached for it without thinking. Later, I found out it was meant for that little boy for his 10-year-old birthday. When I found out, I felt horrible because I don\u2019t want to ruin anyone\u2019s little time at the game and ruin their little birthday. To the young boy, I\u2019m sorry that I ruined your moment. You should\u2019ve had your moment for your birthday. I want to send back your headband so you can celebrate your birthday the way you were supposed to.\u201d<\/p>\n

The ordeal comes on the heels of another controversy surrounding possession of a memento at a sporting event, when a female Phillies fan in Miami got in the face of a father <\/a>who snagged a home run ball for his son last month and screamed at him, demanding the ball back.<\/p>\n

The father relented, wanting to de-escalate the situation, but people all across the internet have skewered the woman ever since<\/a>.<\/p>\n
