Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was listed on the Kansas City Chiefs<\/a>‘ latest injury report ahead of the team’s Week 5 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars on ‘Monday Night Football.’<\/p>\n

Here’s the latest on Mahomes’ status after Kansas City’s latest practice session on Thursday:<\/p>\n

Patrick Mahomes injury update<\/p>\n

Mahomes is now dealing with a groin injury after previously being listed on Kansas City’s injury reports due to an issue with his right wrist. Despite his groin issue, Mahomes managed to be a full participant in the Chiefs’ workouts on Thursday.<\/p>\n

How long will Patrick Mahomes be out?<\/p>\n

For now, it doesn’t appear that Mahomes will need to miss any time as a result of his condition. Unless his groin injury worsens in the next few days, Mahomes will be expected to play against the Jaguars in Week 5.<\/p>\n

Chiefs QB depth chart<\/p>\n

Kansas City’s only other active quarterback is veteran signal-caller Gardner Minshew, who will be called upon to replace Mahomes in Week 5, if needed.<\/p>\n
