\ud83c\udfc8<\/a> Steelers Style, the team\u2019s annual fashion show featuring players and their families showing off the latest fashions, will take place on Friday, October 10 at 6 p.m. at Stage AE.<\/p>\n

The Steelers announced the co-captains<\/a> for this year\u2019s high-energy show, with strong safety DeShon Elliott and wide receiver DK Metcalf handling the honor.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s cool. I have always been recognized for my taste in fashion,\u201d Elliott said. \u201cJust to have the chance to co-chair it is special. I am excited for it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfc8<\/a> Steelers rookie outside linebacker Jack Sawyer is the winner of the 2025 NFL Way to Play Award for Week 4. This is the eighth year for the award, which recognizes NFL players who exemplify proper technique to make impactful plays.<\/p>\n

\u201cJack gets a one-on-one block, but look at his posture,\u201d Troy Vincent, NFL Executive Vice President of Football Operations said<\/a>. \u201cGreat get off. Wonderful hand leverage. He gets inside of the tackle\u2019s shoulder pad. Good leverage with his arms and he has this tackle on skates.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe makes the quarterback adjust his throw. Wonderful technique, something I\u2019ve seen before when he was at OSU. Coach Larry Johnson has taught this young man well and he\u2019s applying it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sawyer will receive a $5,000 equipment grant through USA Football to be awarded to the local youth or high school football program of his choice.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfc8<\/a> CBS Sports Cody Benjamin thinks the Steelers offense is fake.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are playing a style of offense that Rodgers, at 41 years old, surprisingly older than Joe Flacco, needs to play because he doesn\u2019t want to get hit, can\u2019t move with his feet anymore, can\u2019t extend plays, he needs to get the ball out fast,\u201d Benjamin said on The Ringer NFL Show<\/a>. \u201cWhen they go against better teams, \u2019cause I think their schedule to start the season has been very underrated easy. I think you\u2019re going to see how much this Steelers offense is fake when you start to go against more playable defenses.\u201d<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udfc8<\/a> Former Steelers nose tackle Chris Hoke said it\u2019s time for the Steelers to get Pat Freiermuth involved.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re paying those guys too much money. I mean, they\u2019re paying Freiermuth, I think $10 million a year. So they gotta get him in the game,\u201d Hoke said on 93.7 The Fan<\/a>. \u201cHim to play what, 15-16 percent of the snaps. Freiermuth\u2019s not gonna be happy. So they\u2019ve gotta find a way to get him involved in the offense.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steelers have beaten Justin Fields, they lost to Sam Darnold, they beat second-year quarterback Drake Maye, and they beat Carson Wentz.\u201d<\/p>\n
