All told, <a href=\"https:\/\/buckeyeswire.usatoday.com\/story\/sports\/college\/buckeyes\/football\/2025\/04\/24\/ohio-state-football-2025-nfl-draft-tracker-buckeyes\/83247330007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">14 players<\/a> heard their names called during the seven rounds of the annual spectacle, tying a program record and finishing just one shy of the all-time record for draft picks.<\/p>\n<p>There isn&#8217;t a lot of time between the draft and rookie mini camps, as well as the feeding frenzy surrounding signing free agents, so that means things have to move pretty quick, and one of those items is assigning each newcomer a jersey number.<\/p>\n<p>The NFL has tighter restrictions on what a player can wear based on their position, so some players have to give up that lifelong identity they&#8217;ve had in the game to fit into the NFL mold and nomenclature, so it&#8217;s always interesting to look back and forward with what jersey numbers each had and will have going forward in the League.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a look at all 14 Ohio State NFL draft picks, what their old number was and what their new ones will be.<\/p>\n<p>Ohio State 2025 NFL draft picks old and new jersey numbers<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll keep an eye on how each of these rookies acclimate themselves through rookie camp, fall training camp, and of course, through their first year in the NFL as the season gets going.
