Travis Hunter<\/a> became $40 million-plus richer two weeks ago as the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft<\/a>. His first purchase with that money, though, was much more inexpensive yet still fitting for him with his new franchise.<\/p>\n

Hunter met with the media<\/a> on the field for the first time at rookie minicamp with the Jacksonville Jaguars<\/a>. One of the first questions was about a pair of Jags\u2019 pajama pants, which he wore during his graduation this past week from<\/a> Colorado<\/a>, that he had purchased, which he then said was the first thing he bought right after being selected on draft night.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s the first thing I ordered off of Amazon when I got drafted,\u201d said Hunter. \u201cThat night!\u201d<\/p>\n

Hunter has been known to like wearing pajamas around as his sense of style. That\u2019s most seen on social media or streams with him wearing either different pjs or onesies around online.<\/p>\n

Now, being a Jacksonville Jaguar, this was an obvious purchase for Hunter. That\u2019s with him spending the next four to five years on the team on a deal worth $41.1 million<\/a> according to reporting per Spotrac<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, Hunter isn\u2019t just a Jag now as he\u2019s expected to be one of the team\u2019s key pieces for the next half decade after they traded up to get him as the No. 2 pick overall<\/a>. The reigning winner of The Heisman Trophy<\/a> is coming to Duval County as one of the best two-way prospects all time having just caught 96 passes for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns as a receiver and having posted 36 tackles, 11 deflections, four interceptions, and a forced fumble. He\u2019ll now be among the favorites<\/a> to be a Rookie of the Year, whether that be on the offensive or defensive side, in the NFL.<\/p>\n

Hunter is going to be in Jacksonville for a while. He\u2019ll now fit right in, and be comfy as well, with this first purchase of his explained.<\/p>\n

Hunter impresses woman on flight<\/p>\n

Travis Hunter\u00a0made quite the first impression on a lady during a flight over the weekend who actually had no idea who he was. The woman, named Sandy Hawkins Combs according to her Facebook profile, met Hunter on a flight when they were seated next to each other and he helped her with her bags.<\/p>\n

He did not mention who he was or brag as the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft or as the Heisman Trophy winner. Basically, he was incognito until Combs realized people were coming up to him, giving him congratulations and taking pictures with him.
