Kyler Murray<\/a> has been a bit questionable since exiting for a time in last weekend\u2019s loss to the Tennessee Titans. Now, his status remains that way going into Sunday\u2019s next game against the Indianapolis Colts, in another matchup against the AFC South.<\/p>\n

ESPN\u2019s Adam Schefter reported on Murray\u2019s status<\/a> while on \u2018Get Up\u2019 on Thursday morning. He noted that he did return in the fourth quarter against Tennessee, but, with him not practicing on Wednesday, it could be that we see Jacoby Brissett<\/a> start for the Arizona Cardinals this weekend in Indianpolis.<\/p>\n

\u201cBig questions in Arizona surrounding their quarterback, Kyler Murray, who\u2019s dealing with a foot injury. Didn\u2019t practice yesterday. They\u2019re saying he\u2019s day-to-day,\u201d said Schefter. \u201cHe came back in and finished the game against Tennessee, so that usually is a sign that a player is able to play the next week. But, if he can\u2019t, Jacoby Brissett would come on and start against his former Colts team in Indianapolis this weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n

Attempting to go after his own fumble from a snap late in the third quarter, Murray apparently injured his foot<\/a> on the play. He was labeled as questionable at that point, but only missed one drive to end the third before returning to the field in the fourth. However, despite him returning, and that turnover resulting in no points, Arizona still blew a 21-6 lead to a winless team in Tennessee, as the Titans won 22-21 to end a ten-game losing streak that extended back to last season. That gave the Cardinals a third-straight loss to fall to 2-3 overall.<\/p>\n

Murray has had an alright season through five games. He is 110-161 (68.3%) for 962 yards, currently averaging career lows in passing yards per game and per attempt, with six touchdowns and three interceptions, while also running for 173 yards and another score. He had one of his better passing games against Tennessee, but didn\u2019t throw for a touchdown, although getting his lone rushing score on the year so far, in the one-point loss to the Titans.<\/p>\n

In his very short appearance with Murray sidelined, Brissett made one pass for an incompletion. He\u2019s known to be one of the more capable backups in the league, though, as, in a decade-long career, he has made 53 starts in 89 appearances for five franchises now.<\/p>\n

By Sunday\u2019s noon kickoff at Lucas Oil Stadium, Murray could be in the lineup for Arizona against one of the surprises of the season so far in the Colts (4-1).
