The Colorado Rockies took a page out Jordon Hudson\u2019s book when it came to coping with their most recent embarrassing loss.<\/p>\n
The Rockies\u2019 loss to the Padres on Saturday resembled that of a dominant football shutout: 21-0. The loss put Colorado at 6-33 on the season, a far-and-away MLB worst.<\/p>\n
With nothing else to say after such an abysmal showing, Colorado\u2019s social media team quoted Hudson in a post, saying, \u201cWe\u2019re not talking about this<\/a>\u201d over a photo of Hudson during boyfriend Bill Belichick\u2019s disastrous \u201cCBS Sunday Morning\u201d interview.<\/p>\n The Rockies are of course, referencing Hudson\u2019s infamous viral moment where she crashed Belichick\u2019s interview<\/a> and cut off a question asking about how the couple met.<\/p>\n Much like the Rockies, Hudson has been the butt of many jokes in recent weeks. Getty Images<\/p>\n Hudson was mocked after interfering in the former Patriots coach\u2019s interview when she shut down the conversation when correspondent Tony Dokoupil asked how the couple met. CBS<\/p>\n The Rockies likely got some social media points for the post, but it won\u2019t mask their issues completely.<\/p>\n They followed up the 21-0 thumping with a 9-3 win over the Padres on Sunday \u2014 but neither the win nor the hilarious trolling on X could save the jobs of manager Bud Black and bench coach Mike Redmond<\/a> as both were fired after the victory.<\/p>\n Bud Black was relieved of his duties as Rockies manager Sunday evening. AP<\/p>\n The Rockies have been the laughing stock of MLB this season, and have been bottom feeders for several years now. <\/p>\n Colorado hasn\u2019t made the playoffs since 2018 and hasn\u2019t topped 74 wins in any of the seasons since then. Black had managed the team since 2017.<\/p>\n
